If anything? :)

The weather is cooling here and one of my few favourite things is to make hearty soups
Ok it's not that cold yet, but it warms the heart

What do you like to cook?

I love soup! (but don't make it myself )

I like to make bread, quiche and apple tart.  When friends come from abroad by airplane, I make soup to warm their stomach and get them grounded again.  Occasionally I branch out and make an unusual cake: pistachio and cardomum (but it's difficult to find fresh unsalted pistachios and then grind them); two layer apple cake is an italian recipe.

Right now my cooking seems to be as messed up as my mind though.  I made the most terrible bread ever, and I must have made that recipe before 100 times.

I love cooking meals - planning the menu. and trying new recipes. how it all goes together. tonight i'm going to cook but nothing fancy. also i bake a little. pies, cookies. its the process i think.

lionne, i baked cookies for st. Patrick's day and couldn't figure out what was different but something was. i think too much cinnamon. you can bake something over and over but each time is an adventure.

I am beginning to rest in the majesty of my essential nature. Perhaps I need not ‘heal’ my experience, but hold it, and welcome it into the crucible of aliveness.
